Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough moving across the Yucatan Peninsula
will move into the southwest Gulf of Mexico by late late Sat or
Sun. Unfavorable upper level winds are likely to limit
significant development while the system moves NW or N over the
western Gulf of Mexico early next week. Elsewhere, a stationary
front over the north-central and northeast Gulf will gradually
dissipate through early Sun, while weak high pressure dominates
much of the remainder of the basin.

.TONIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S less than
10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...Variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...Variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S 10 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.

10 kt in the morning, becoming variable winds less than 10 kt.
Elsewhere, E winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than 10 kt
in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds less than 10 kt within 60 nm of coast of
Veracruz, and E 10 to 15 kt elsewhere. Seas 2 ft or less,
