Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Fred near 22.7N 80.6W 1013 mb at
11 PM EDT moving WNW at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds 30 kt
gusts 40 kt. Fred will move inland to 23.4N 81.9W Sat morning,
then strengthen to a tropical storm near 24.8N 83.6W Sat evening
with maximum sustained winds 35 kt gusts 45 kt, move to near
26.3N 85.0W Sun morning, to near 27.8N 86.0W Sun evening, to
near 29.2N 86.6W Mon morning with maximum sustained winds 45 kt
gusts 55 kt, and inland near 30.6N 86.8W Mon evening with
maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts 60 kt. Fred will weaken to a
tropical depression while moving inland over 34.0N 86.5W Tue
evening.
