height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure remains centered over the NW Gulf
while a trough extends from South Florida to near 26N90W. Widely
scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist south of the
trough through Mon night as if drifts westward. Atlantic high
pressure will begin to build westward into the Gulf basin Wed
and Thu.
