Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A squall line extends across the northern portion of
the basin along 27N. With this, scattered moderate convection
prevails north of 26N. Winds and seas could be higher near
thunderstorms activity. A frontal boundary extends across the
gulf states behind the squall line. The front will drift east
exiting the basin within the next 48 hours. A surface ridge from
the Atlantic prevails elsewhere and will dominate the Gulf
region over the next several days. Pulsing fresh E to SE winds
are expected each night into the early morning hours to the NW
of the Yucatan peninsula through Thu night.
