Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Showers and thunderstorms are occurring over the N
Central Gulf associated with a surface trough. Areas of smoke
and haze are possible over the SW Gulf from agricultural fires
in SE Mexico. Fresh to strong SE return flow will prevail
through Tue night over much of the Gulf. A weak cold front will
sink slowly into the NW Gulf Tue night and reach from Louisiana
to the SW Gulf Wed afternoon before stalling and weakening.
Winds should diminish to moderate or weaker across the Gulf on
Thu and Fri.
