Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A complex frontal system along the Texas coast this
morning will reach from northern Florida to the coast of
southern Texas to the western Bay of Campeche early Sat, then
move northward as a warm front later in the weekend. Scattered
thunderstorms are likely off the Texas coast late tonight into
Sat. Areas of smoke and haze are possible in the W Gulf from
agricultural fires in southern Mexico. Fresh southerly return
flow will prevail early next week over much of the basin.
