height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak stationary front extends from near Crystal
River, Florida, to off southwest Louisiana, where it transitions
to a warm front and and continues westward to Galveston Island,
Texas. The front will remain over the northern Gulf into
Saturday, before being overtaken by a cold front that will
stretch from near Tampa Bay, Florida to central Bay of Campeche
by the end of the weekend. Behind the front, gales will develop
offshore Tampico, Mexico by Saturday night.
