more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak high pressure ridge over the eastern Gulf
will shift eastward through Wed ahead of an approaching cold
front. This front will cross the northern Gulf late Wed night
through Thu night, then stall and weaken Fri and Fri night. A
stronger cold front may move into the NW Gulf late Fri night and
Sat, with strengthening NE winds and building seas following its
passage.
