Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient between a ridge building over
the eastern Gulf and low pressure over eastern Mexico will
support fresh to strong southeast winds over the central Gulf
today. A cold front will move into the western Gulf today, with
a brief period of near gale force winds west of the front off
Tampico, Mexico this afternoon. The front will stall and weaken
late tonight. The remnant boundary will then shift westward into
Mexico and southern Texas Fri through Another cold front will
move into the Gulf of Mexico early next week.
