Meanwhile, strong winds will follow the front this afternoon along the coast of Mexico reaching gale force off Veracruz. A coastal trough will maintain strong NW winds along this coast Tue and Wed, while high pressure building across the northern Gulf will allow winds and seas to diminish elsewhere.
