Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary extends WSW from the southern tip
of Florida near 25N81W to 23N87W to low pres 1014 mb near 
22N94W, then SE to near 18N91W. A surface trough curves NW from 
the low to the Mouth of the Rio Grande. Strong high pressure over
Texas and eastern Mexico will support strong to near gale-force 
NW to N winds S of 26N and W of 94W through early Monday evening,
then the winds in this area will slowly diminish through Tue 
night. Strong NE to E winds will cover almost the entire Gulf of 
Mexico Tue and Tue night as the front sinks slowly S to exit the 
Gulf by Wed evening.
