Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...A tropical wave over the eastern Caribbean with axis
near 63W continues to show signs of organization, and a tropical
depression is likely to form within the next couple of days. The
disturbance is forecast to move WNW across the eastern Caribbean
Sea during the next day or two, and be over the central
Caribbean Sea this weekend. Regardless of development, locally
heavy rainfall and gusty winds are likely to affect the Windward
Islands tonight, and northern Venezuela, northeastern Colombia,
and the ABC island chain during the next couple of days.

Synopsis for the the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Fiona near 26.6N 71.2W 934 mb at 11 PM EDT
moving N at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 115 kt gusts 140 kt. 
Fiona will move to 28.2N 70.5W Thu morning, 30.9N 68.7W Thu 
evening, and further N of the area near 34.8N 65.1W Fri morning.
Swells generated by Fiona will continue to spread westward
across the SW Atlantic toward the NW Bahamas and the E coast of 
the United States during the next day or two. The swells could 
cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions. A cold 
front will drop south over the north waters early on Fri through 
Sat night followed by fresh northeast winds and building seas. 
High pressure will build in behind the cold front.
