Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Sam near 18.4N 55.6W 944 mb at 11 PM EDT
moving NW at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds 120 kt gusts 145 kt.
Sam will move to 19.1N 56.7W Wed morning, 20.2N 58.2W Wed
evening, 21.8N 59.9W Thu morning, 23.9N 61.2W Thu evening, 26.4N
61.9W Fri morning, and 29.1N 61.8W Fri evening. Sam will change
little in intensity as it continues moving northward southeast
of Bermuda through Sat. Meanwhile, moderate trades will continue
over much of the Caribbean tonight. Gentle trades will then
prevail over the Caribbean through Fri. Swells generated by Sam
are forecast to continue off the Leeward Islands through Thu and
will begin to impact the Mona and Anegada Passages Wed through
Fri.

little in intensity as it continues moving northward southeast
of Bermuda through Sat. In addition to hurricane conditions
northeast of the Leeward Islands through Wed, expect rough seas
in the form of swell from Sam east of 70W Thu and Fri. Farther
west, a weak pressure pattern will maintain light to gentle
breezes and slight seas through Thu. A cold front will move from
the Carolinas to the central Bahamas Fri and Sat, then stall and
dissipate through late Sun.
