.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front from the Florida Panhandle to the
Texas-Mexico border will gradually stall in the SE Basin by
tonight. A reinforcing front will enter the basin late tonight
and sweep through the basin Sat. By Sat night into Sun, high
pressure will build into the northern Gulf, and strengthen into
Mon. This will support fresh to locally strong winds late this
weekend into early next week across much of the Gulf. The high
pressure will shift east of the region Tue.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming E to SE less than
5 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming N 20 to 25 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 5 ft after
midnight. 
.SAT...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming NE 5 to 10 kt
after midnight. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NE swell. 
.SUN...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
