.SYNOPSIS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Nicholas is nearly stationary
along the central Louisiana coast, south of Lafayette. Moderate
to fresh winds with likely prevail in the north central Gulf
into tonight as a result. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate
southerly winds will dominate through the weekend.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to S to SW after
midnight. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.FRI...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Chance
