.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Nicholas is inland north of the
area in SW Louisiana and is currently stationary, but is
expected to gradually move northward over the next couple of
days. Nicholas is forecast to become a remnant low Thu.
Conditions will continue to gradually improve offshore the
Louisiana and upper Texas coasts, but fresh winds and seas up to
5 ft can be expected through tonight. For the remainder of the
week, gentle to moderate southerly flow will dominate the basin.
