.SYNOPSIS...A large area of convection extends across Central
America and southern Mexico, related to the interaction of a
tropical wave and an upper level trough. Upper-level winds are
expected to become favorable for the system during the next day
or so. A tropical depression is likely to form on Sunday or
Monday while the disturbance moves NW near the coast of
NE Mexico. Regardless of development, this disturbance is 
expected to produce heavy rain over portions of the western Gulf
coast, including coastal Texas and Louisiana through the middle 
of next week. Localized significant rainfall amounts will be 
possible, potentially resulting in areas of flash and urban 
flooding. Elsewhere, a frontal boundary over the northern Gulf 
will prevail through Sun supporting showers and thunderstorms 
across the region.
