.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough currently over the Gulf of Honduras
and portions of Central America is expected to move WNW across
the Yucatan Peninsula, bringing heavy rainfall. The trough may
move over the SW Gulf of Mexico late this weekend, but
unfavorable upper level winds are likely to limit significant
development while the system moves NW or N over the western Gulf
of Mexico early next week. Otherwise, a stationary front over
the far NE Gulf will gradually dissipate over the weekend, while
weak high pressure dominates much of the remainder of the basin.

subsiding to 2 ft or less. Slight chance of tstms.
