.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends across the NE Gulf is
accompanied by scattered showers and thunderstorms. Another
trough extends across the NW Gulf waters with similar activity.
Both troughs will drift while dissipating through tonight. The
Atlantic high pressure ridge is building across the basin, with
1018 mb high centered near 26N86W. The high will drift westward
and dominate the Gulf region during the upcoming weekend then
reorganize over the E Gulf by early next week.
