.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends across the NW Gulf waters 
with scattered showers. The trough will continue drifting while 
dissipating today. The Atlantic high pressure ridge is building 
across the basin, with 1018 mb high centered near 27N85E. This 
high will drift westward and dominate the Gulf region during the 
upcoming weekend then reorganize over the E Gulf by early next 
week.
