.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging extending from the Atlantic to
the central Gulf will slide eastward today as a cold front
approaches the Gulf region. The front will enter the northern
Gulf waters this afternoon, then stall tonight. A low pressure
will develop along the frontal boundary dragging a new cold
across the western Gulf tonight into Tue morning. Gale-force
winds will develop near Tampico early Tue morning, and then near
the Veracruz area later in the morning. The front will reach
from SE Louisiana to the central Bay of Campeche early Tue
afternoon, from the western Florida Panhandle to the eastern Bay
of Campeche by Tue night, and from near Tampa Bay, Florida to NW
Yucatan peninsula on Wed. The front will move across the SE Gulf
Wed night into Thu. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt,  shifting to E to SE in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to
5 to 7 ft late. Scattered showers. 
.TUE...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
