.SYNOPSIS...A cold front stretches from the north-central Gulf
coast to the southern Gulf will exit the region by this evening.
The surge of strong NW winds and seas of 7 to 9 ft will subside
by tonight. High pressure will build over the Gulf in the wake 
of the front with moderate winds prevailing through Sat. The next
cold front will push off the Texas coast by Sun evening and 
bring strong NW winds across the basin once again on Mon. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.FRI...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
