.SYNOPSIS...High pressure across the northern Gulf will shift
east today ahead of a cold front moving off the Texas coast this
evening. The front is forecast to reach a position from Panama
City to 27N90W to Tampico, Mexico near 22N97W by Sun morning,
then stall just S of Tampa Bay to 25N90W to the central Gulf of
Campeche by Mon morning. Strong to near gale force northerly
winds and building seas will follow the front over the western
Gulf on Sun. Winds are forecast to reach minimal gale force
across the west-central Gulf by Sun afternoon, and across the SW
Gulf by Sun evening. Then, winds and seas will gradually
diminish through Mon as the front shifts and weaken southeast of
the area.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, increasing to 20 to 25 kt
late in the evening, then, shifting to N to NE after midnight.
Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SUN...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
