Zeta will strengthen to a hurricane near 23.1N 90.9W this evening with maximum sustained winds 70 kt gusts to 85 kt, move to near 25.7N 91.6W Wed morning, then begin to accelerate in a north- northeast motion to near 29.3N 89.9W Wed evening. Zeta will move inland and weaken to a tropical depression well north of the area near 34.2N 85.2W Thu morning. Numerous squalls and thunderstorms will continue to move across the Yucatan Channel from the northwestern Caribbean Sea through late Wed. A cold front just offshore the Texas coast will become stationary today through tonight.
