Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Zeta near 20.2N 87.1W 982 mb at 11 PM EDT
moving NW at 11 kt. Maximum sustained winds 70 kt gusts 85 kt.
Zeta will move inland and weaken to a tropical storm near 21.3N
88.8W Tue morning, the restrengthen back to a hurricane near
23.1N 90.7W Tue evening. Hurricane Zeta will reach 25.6N 91.6W
Wed morning, 29.1N 90.1W Wed evening, then move inland and
weaken to a tropical storm near 33.8N 85.7W Thu morning.
Tropical Storm Zeta will become extratropical and move across
Maryland Thu evening. A cold front will move into the NW Gulf 
Wed, reach from southeastern Alabama early Thu and from near 
Sarasota, to the NW Yucatan Peninsula, to the far eastern Bay of 
Campeche by late Fri and weaken as it reaches the far southeastern
Gulf water on Sat. Fresh northerly winds will follow in behind 
the front through Fri.

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure difference between Atlantic high
pressure and Hurricane Zeta over the northwestern Caribbean Sea
will maintain moderate to fresh east to southeast winds over the
area through late Wed. A cold front will move over the northwest 
part of the area on Fri and reach from near 29N65W to the central 
Bahamas and to near western Cuba by late Sat. Fresh to strong 
northeast to east winds and building seas will follow behind the 
front.
