Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough across the eastern Gulf will drift
W through the remainder of the week. Surface ridging will extend
across the Gulf leading to fairly tranquil marine conditions
through the upcoming weekend and into early next week.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Paulette near 21.5N 49.1W 998 mb at 
11 AM EDT moving WNW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 45 kt
gusts 55 kt. Paulette will move to 21.8N 50.7W this evening,
22.6N  52.6W Fri morning, 23.8N 54.4W Fri evening, 25.4N 56.3W
Sat  morning, 26.9N 58.4W Sat evening, and 28.0N 61.0W Sun
morning.  Paulette will strengthen to a hurricane near 30.0N
65.0W early  Mon. Swells associated with Paulette are beginning
to spread into the waters E of the Bahamas and will continue to
propagate and  build through the weekend. Elsewhere, a surface
trough NE-E of  Florida will drift W through the remainder of
the week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
