Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters during the
next several days supporting mainly gentle to moderate easterly
winds and seas generally under 5 ft. Fresh northerly winds will
occasionally occur near and to the NW of the western Yucatan
Peninsula due to local effects. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...Abundant cloudiness, with embedded showers and
thunderstorms, are expected to persist over most of the forecast
region trough Thu. This is associated with a trough, that 
currently extends over the NW Bahamas. The trough will move 
eastward, mainly across the waters N of 27N through Wed while 
weakening. A ridge will follow the trough. Winds and seas could
be higher near thunderstorms.

.THIS AFTERNOON...N winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft
or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft late. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
