Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak low pressure along a trough in the eastern Gulf
will lift north today and tonight, moving inland on Wed. North
of the low, fresh east winds are expected. A weak cold front
will reach the Texas coast this morning, then stall as it
approaches the central Gulf. Haze and smoke from fires over
southern Mexico could reduce visibility at times over the SW
Gulf. A weak pressure pattern will prevail for the end of the
week into the weekend.  

.TODAY...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough S of 27N between 65W and 70W 
will move little and likely dissipate Tue. Another surface
trough oriented west to east off the central Florida coast along
with 1009 mb low pressure near Fort Pierce, Florida will lift N
today and tonight, with strong east winds head of it. Another 
trough may develop mainly E of 65W during the latter half of the 
week.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
