Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate much of the Gulf waters
through Sun producing an E to SE wind flow. A surface trough
will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula during the evening
hours, drift westward across the SW Gulf at night, and dissipate
in the morning. Fresh to locally strong winds will be associated
with the trough. A stationary front over the far north waters
will lift N on Thu.

.SYNOPSIS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Arthur north of the area will 
move SE to S through Thu and weaken. Large NE swell from Arthur 
will affect the waters NE of the Bahamas through Fri then
subside Fri night and Sat. A weak frontal trough moving across
Florida will dissipate later today. High pressure will build
modestly across the northern waters Fri and Sat. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of
27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
