Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front entering the NW Gulf will move SE to 
exit the Gulf by Wed evening. Ahead of the front, strong SW winds 
and seas of 8 to 9 ft are expected this afternoon over the far NE 
Gulf and continue through the evening. Behind the front, strong NW
to N winds are expected over the same area tonight and Wed 
morning. Winds and seas will diminish across much of the basin 
late Wed, and remain relatively tranquil through the end of the 
week as high pressure builds over the NE Gulf. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
Scattered showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.WED...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Rapidly deepening low pres will head ENE from the 
Carolinas tonight. An unusually strong cold front for this time of
year will push SE across the Bahamas Wed and Wed night to extend 
from near 25N65W to near the Windward Passage Thu. The front will 
eventually pass to the E pf Puerto Rico by Sun. Ahead of the 
front, SW gales will develop and seas will build tonight N of 28N 
and E of 78W, then expand E through Wed. NW gales are also 
forecast behind the front over the same area Wed and Wed night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.WED...W winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 30 kt N of 27N.
Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N 15 to 20 kt N of
