Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extending from the western Atlantic
across the region will maintain mainly gentle to moderate east
to southeast winds across the Gulf through the period. Southeast
winds increase to fresh speeds over the NW Gulf Wed night.
Patchy dense fog is expected in some locations of the NW and
N-central Gulf during the at night and in the mornings through
Mon.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge extending roughly along 30N 
from the central Atlantic to northern Florida will weaken
tonight as a cold front sags southward over the northern waters 
Sun and Sun night and central waters east of the Bahamas Mon 
through Tue night while weakening. Increasing winds and building 
seas are expected over these waters. The pressure gradient between
high pressure in the wake of the front and a trough currently 
near 60W, that is expected to move west and southwest toward the 
northeastern Caribbean, will tigthen increasing the winds over the
eastern forecast waters beginning late Sun and through most of 
Wed. Seas will build some with these winds.
