Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds are expected across
the western Gulf through tonight, ahead of the next cold front
forecast to enter the NW Gulf Wed morning. Frequent gusts to
minimal gale force are likely this morning over the northwest
Gulf. The front will reach from southeast Louisiana to near
Tampico, Mexico late Wed, from near Tampa, Florida to the
northeast Yucatan peninsula late Thu, before shifting southeast
of the basin Fri. Winds and seas diminish Fri and Sat as a high
pressure moves eastward across the northern Gulf.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.THU...S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...SW winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to W to NW 15 to
20 kt after midnight. Seas 7 to 10 ft in S swell. 
.FRI...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front is stalling and dissipating just north
of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. High pressure will move 
eastward along 28N through mid week in the wake of the front. 
Southerly flow will increase north of the Bahamas by Wed night, 
ahead of the next cold front moving off the coast of Florida Thu
night into Fri. Southerly winds ahead of the front, may reach 
near gale force off northeast Florida by late Thu night. The front
should reach from 31N72W to the Straits of Florida on Fri, and 
from near Bermuda to the central Bahamas by Sat morning. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft in the afternoon. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
