Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over the NW Gulf will stall and weaken
along 24N on Wed. High pressure will build in the wake of the
front through Fri before retreating eastward. This will enable a
cold front to enter the NW Gulf on Sat, with near gale force NW
winds possible near Veracruz Sat night.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure across the northern waters will shift 
eastward today ahead of a cold front moving off the SE U.S. 
coast. The front will extend from 31N70W to southern Florida
Wed, and become stationary on Thu. Strong high pressure building
north of 30N Wed night through Fri night will produce a large
area of strong winds and building seas across the entire region,
with highest winds and seas expected east of the Bahamas Thu
through Sat. 

.TODAY...S of 27N, E winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to N in the
afternoon. N of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to W
15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
