Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through
tonight. A weak surface trough will drift westward across the
central and western Gulf Wed through Fri, with fresh to locally
strong E to SE winds east of the trough. A cold front is
forecast to enter the NW Gulf Sat night into Sun followed by
fresh to strong northerly winds and building seas. 

.TODAY...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A low pressure system will continue to affect the
forecast waters through Thu, then shift eastward. The pressure
gradient between the low pres and high pres building across the
US eastern seaboard will support fresh to strong NE to E winds
mainly S of 28N through at least Fri. 

.TODAY...N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 7 to 10 ft N of 27N.
