Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will prevail over the northern
Gulf through tonight, then move E Fri through the upcoming
weekend. This will support strengthening SE return flow across
the western Gulf this weekend, with fresh to strong winds
building seas to 8 ft over the NW Gulf by Mon night. Smoke and
haze from ongoing wildfires in Mexico will reduce visibilities
over the western Gulf and the Bay of Campeche over the next
several days.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N61W to 28N65W, then 
continues as a stationary front to the Florida Keys. The cold 
front will continue moving E across the outer offshore waters 
through Fri as high pressure builds over the northern waters.
The  stationary front will gradually weaken over the Bahamas
today  through Fri. High pressure will prevail across the
northern waters Fri through Sun, then lift north of 31N on Mon.
A weak surface low will develop N of the Bahamas Mon night. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft until late afternoon,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
