Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from near Naples, Florida to the
Yucatan Channel will move E of the area this afternoon. Gale
force winds in the SW Gulf have begun to diminish, while fresh
to strong NW winds elsewhere behind the front will diminish from
the NW to SE through Sat night. A ridge will extend from SE
Texas to the Straits of Florida on Mon. Another cold front will
clip the eastern Gulf Tue with new ridging building in the wake
of the front through Wed night.  

.TODAY...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 9 to 14 ft. Showers and
scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 30 kt, shifting to N 15 to 20 kt
late. Seas 8 to 13 ft. 
.SUN...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.MON...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N78.5W to near Cape Canaveral
will shift eastward today reaching from Bermuda to E Cuba on Sun
while accompanied by a strong to near gale force wind shift. The
front  will slow reaching from 28N65W to the Windward Passage on
Mon,  then reaching from 27N65W to Hispaniola on Tue where it
will stall and gradually dissipate through mid-week. Large NE
swell will  gradually subside across the Atlantic waters E of
72W through  tonight. 

.TODAY...S of 27N, S to SW winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to W to NW
late, Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft. N of 27N, W winds
20 to 25 kt, Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N,
and 6 to 9 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN...N winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 8 ft N of 27N.
