Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A slow moving cold front extending from SE Lousiana to 27N93W and to just N of Brownsville will weaken as it reaches from Pensacola to near 24N97W early on Friday, and begin to dissipate as it reaches from near Panama City to near 26N93W Friday night. A trough is forecast to persist over the central gulf to the SE and S of the cold front through Friday night, then drift westward over the SW and far western waters Saturday before moving inland the NE coast of Mexico by early on Saturday night. Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida .SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 1012 mb is located near 27N68W, with a trough extending SW to the eastern tip of Cuba. The low will deepen some as it quickly moves eastward to E of the area to near 27N62W by early Friday afternoon. The associated trough will transition to a cold front and move to the far SE portion on Friday, then become stationary late Friday and weaken to a trough on Saturday before dissipating on Sunday as strong high pres builds southeastward across the area. A surface trough is expected to develop NW of the Bahamas along 79W on Monday, and move inland the Florida coast by Tuesday afternoon.
