Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extends from the NW Gulf to the Yucatan
Channel. A cold front will move into the western Gulf and merge
with the trough Thu through Fri, stalling from near the Florida
Panhandle to Tampico, Mexico, before drifting W through the
upcoming weekend.

.SYNOPSIS...High pres dominates much of the forecast area while
a surface trough extends across the SE waters. A broad area of
low  pres is expected to develop along the trough axis and just
to the E of the eastern zones Thu through Fri. A cold front may
move  into the N waters Fri night, shifting E through Sat night.

of 27N. S of 27N, seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or
