Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from Fl Panhandle near 30N85.5W to 1012 mb low near 26N87W. A cold front extends from the 1012 mb low near 26N87W, to 24N94W and 18.5N95W, to inland Mexico near 22N100W. The low will track east-northeastward slowly, to the far eastern Gulf waters through early Friday, before moving inland central Florida Friday afternoon, pushing the cold front to the far SE waters by Saturday. A tight pressure gradient behind the front will bring gale-force conditions to much of the western waters for rest of today, except to continue in the far SW waters into early Thursday. High pressure will build across the area in the wake of the front through Sunday, allowing for winds and seas to decrease. .TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. This system will intensify as it moves quickly NE, to just N of the area near 32N64W 1000 mb by early on Thursday. Strong to near gale force winds are expected with southerly flow to the E and SE of the low. Another low pressure system, currently over the eastern Gulf of Mexico, will move across Florida into the SW N Atlantic by Friday evening.
