Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A 1012 mb low near 26N89W extends a cold front SW to 24N93W and to inland Mexico near 23N98W. The low will slowly track east-northeastward to the far eastern gulf waters through early on Friday before moving inland central Florida Friday afternoon pushing the cold front to the far SE waters by Saturday. A tight pressure gradient behind the front will bring gale force conditions to much of the western waters through today, except to continue over the far SW waters into early on Thursday. Strong to near gale force winds are expected with southerly flow to the E and SE of the low. Another low pressure system, currently over the eastern Gulf of Mexico, will move across Florida into the SW N Atlantic by Friday evening.
