Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening stationary front extends from Tampa Bay
to a surface low near 24N96W, with the stationary front
continuing S to the Bay of Campeche. A remnant trough will
meander across the far SW gulf waters by late tonight and
continue into early next week. Strengthening high pressure will
produce fresh to locally strong NE winds across the E gulf
waters this weekend.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over the northwest waters will stall 
from 31N66W to 27N80W on Sat. Strong to near gale force N-NE 
winds, and building seas, will spread S across the waters N of the
Bahamas through tonight reaching the northern Bahama Channel on 
Sat afternoon with little change until the pressure gradient 
relaxes on Sun. A second cold front will move off the N Florida 
coast on Mon and merge with the remnants of the first front from 
31N63W to the Cay Sal Bank on Tue night. A broad trough will 
meander from the Windward Passage to just S of Bermuda through 
early next week.
