Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the northern Gulf through the
middle of the week. A cold front will move off the Texas coast 
Wed, reach from SE Louisiana to Brownsville, Texas Wed night, from
the Florida Big Bend area to NE Mexico late Thu, before stalling 
from SW Florida to near Tampico, Mexico through Fri. Fresh 
northerly winds and building seas up to 5 or 6 ft will follow the 
front by late Fri.

.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough over the Bahamas will dissipate
over the next couple of days. A ridge west of the trough will
support moderate trades S of 20N, pulsing to 20 kt off
Hispaniola tonight. Fresh NE flow will follow a front off NE
Florida by late week.

.TODAY...NE winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and NE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft in the late evening and overnight.
