Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front has moved SE and extends from central
Cuba to interior Yucatan Peninsula near 18.5N90W. Winds and seas
will gradually diminish across the Gulf waters through Mon
morning with more tranquil marine conditions expected through
the week ahead. Mainly moderate to locally fresh E to SE flow
will prevail around high pres NE of the area.  

.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt, becoming N 10 to 15 kt late
in the night. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NW swell. 
.MON...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft,subsiding to
3 to 5 ft in the afternoon. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.TUE...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Remnants of Tropical Storm Phillipe near 31.0N 75.0W
at 1200 UTC have begun to merge with W Atlc cold front and will
exit area early this evening. The cold front extends from 31N77W
across far NW Bahamas to near 22.5N80W, with pre-frontal trough
from 29N74W to 25N75W to E Cuba near 20N76W. The trough will
move slowly E with active weather continuing along and E, while
the front moves SE and gradually merges with trough Mon evening
from near 29N69W to the Windward Passage where it will stall,
then  will drift W through the remainder of the week. Brief
gales will occur this evening behind front across the NW waters.

.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 30 kt
N of 27N with frequent gusts 35 to 40 kt this evening.. Seas 6 to
9 ft in NW swell. 
.MON...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 ft until late afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
