Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from Big Bend area of Florida to the
central Bay of Campeche will sweep SE across the Gulf through
this afternoon with fresh to strong northerly winds behind it.
Winds to gale force off Veracruz will diminish through sunrise.
Elongated circulation of Tropical Storm Phillipe across the
Florida Keys will move quickly NE across the South Floridathis
morning before racing across the SW N Atlc ahead of the cold
front. Winds and seas will diminish across the Gulf through
tonight with more tranquil marine conditions through early next
week.

.TODAY...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. NW winds 35 to
40 kt, becoming NW to N 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Seas 4 to
9 ft,building to 7 to 9 ft in the afternoon. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Phillipe near 25.0N 81.0W at 0900 UTC
 moving ENE at 15 kt will move rapidly across S Florida into the
Atlantic this morning ahead of a cold front moving through the
Gulf of Mexico. Philippe will reach 29.2N 77.8W in the Atlantic 
by early afternoon, then continue north of the area this
evening. The cold front will follow in the wake of the tropical 
storm, reaching from Bermuda to the Windward Passage by Mon 
afternoon, then stalling and weakening through mid week.

35 to 40 kt, becoming W to NW 25 to 30 kt in the afternoon. N of
27N,S winds 35 to 40 kt, shifting to W 40 to 45 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 11 ft in SW to W swell. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.
