Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from near Pensacola, Florida to the
central Bay of Campeche will sweep across the Gulf through
Sunday afternoon with fresh to strong northerly winds behind it,
except gale force offshore of Tampico and Veracruz through the
evening. Tropical Storm Phillipe across W Cuba late this
afternoon will move quickly NE across the Straits of Florida and
the Florida Keys this evening, then continue NE and along the SE
coast of Florida and the far NW Bahamas overnight then race
across the SW N Atlc Sun. Winds and seas will diminish across
the Gulf through Sun night with more tranquil marine conditions
through early next week.

40 kt, becoming NW to N 25 to 30 kt late. Seas 4 to 7 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Phillipe is over W Cuba near 23.0N
82.6W 1002 mb at 2100 UTC moving N at 25 kt. Maximum sustained 
winds 35 kt gust to 45 kt. Phillipe will move quickly NE across
the Straits of Florida and the Florida Keys this evening, then 
continue NE and along the SE coast of Florida and the far NW 
Bahamas overnight, reaching near 29N77.5W Sunday morning, then 
race NE and into the W Atlc north of the area waters Sun
afternoon. A cold front will follow in the wake of the tropical 
storm, reaching from Bermuda to the Windward Passage by Mon 
afternoon, then stalling and weakening through mid week.

winds 40 to 45 kt, becoming W to NW 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon.
