Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh return flow has started over the NW Gulf ahead
of the next cold front, expected to move into the NW Gulf early
this afternoon, then reach from the western Florida Panhandle to
the W Bay of Campeche by early Sat afternoon. High pressure
behind front will support another round of strong northerly
winds across much of the basin, with gale force winds expected
across the west-central and SW Gulf on Sat and Sat night.

showers. 
.SAT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. E winds 15 to 20 kt.

.SAT NIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. N winds 30 to
35 kt, becoming NW to N 20 to 25 kt late. Seas 3 to 6 ft. Chance

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from near 31N63W to the Turks
and Caicos Islands then to E central Cuba will stall across the
NE waters tonight, while remainder of front shifts northward 
through the central Bahamas. Newly formed Potential Tropical
Cyclone Eighteen across the W Caribbean this evening expected to
move NNE and become a tropical storm late tonight and approach W
Cuba, then move NE across W Cuba late Sat afternoon, then NE 
across the Straits of Florida Sat night and through the NW 
Bahamas Sun before dissipating Sun afternoon just ahead of an 
approaching W Atlantic cold front. The front will move off NE 
Florida and GA early Sun morning and reach from 30N76W to
central Cuba by Sun afternoon, from 31N70W to E central Cuba
early Mon  morning, and begin to stall and weaken from 28N65W to
E central  Cuba late Mon. Gale force winds are possible ahead of
the front  late Sun and Mon after the tropical cyclone
dissipates.
