Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge dominates the gulf region and will
shift NE through Fri. Fresh return flow will begin over the NW
Gulf early Fri, ahead of the next cold front expected to move
into the NW Gulf early Fri afternoon, then reach from the
western Florida Panhandle to the W Bay of Campeche by early Sat
afternoon. High pressure behind front will support another round
of strong Sly winds across much of the basin, with gale force
winds expected across the west-central and SW Gulf on Sat.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N69W across the central 
Bahamas near Crooked Island to E Cuba near 20N77W. The front 
will move SE and reach from 31N66W to eastern Cuba tonight, and 
will begin to weaken on Fri from 31N65W to eastern Cuba. Another
 front will move off the coast of Florida by early Sun and
continue SE through Mon afternoon, reaching from near Bermuda to
E Cuba. Low pressure across the NW Caribbean this weekend will
move NNE across W central Cuba, and across the Straits of 
Florida and NW Bahamas, along or just ahead of the front and
produce strong to near gale force winds along its path.
