Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Winds and seas are forecast to gradually diminish
across the gulf waters today as the cold front currently located
over the NW Caribbean Sea continues to shift eastward and high
pressure builds over the northern Gulf. Fresh return flow will
begin over the NW Gulf by early Fri, ahead of another cold front
moving into the NW Gulf late Fri. The front will reach from the
western Florida Panhandle to the central Bay of Campeche by
midday Sat. High pressure behind front will support another
round of strong Nly winds across much of the basin, with gale
force winds expected across the west-central and SW Gulf on Sat.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N77W across the NW
Bahamas  and western Cuba. The front will reach from 31N73W to
central  Cuba tonight, and from 31N69W to eastern Cuba by midday
Thu,  before stalling and weakening from near 31N60W to central
Cuba  through Fri and Sat. Fresh to strong winds ahead and
behind the  front are forecast to persist through tonight.
Another cold front will move off the coast of Florida by early
Sun, possibly interacting with the low pressure currently
located over the Caribbean Sea.  This could bring an increase in
winds and seas across the SW N  Atlantic on Sunday.

20 kt N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to
4 ft in the afternoon. N of 27N, seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.
