Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough along 93W will continue W today
as a surface low develops briefly near 23N93W. A cold front will 
move off the Texas coast this evening, reach from the Florida Big 
Bend to 23N93W to the Bay of Campeche late Mon, then begin to 
stall from S Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula on Tue. Minimal gale
force conditions are expected within 90 nm of the Mexican coast 
from Tampico to Veracruz Mon through Tue night. Strong post- gale 
NW flow will then continue until midday Wed before diminishing to 
a fresh E breeze across the northern Gulf waters on Wed night into
Thu.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough N of 23N along 66W, and a tropical wave S
of 23N along 68W will both continue W reaching along 71W on Mon.
A surface low near 20N66W has a low chance of becoming a tropical
cyclone during the next 2 days as it recurves NW reaching near 
24N72W on Mon, then turning N along the surface trough reaching 
near 27N72W on Mon night. A cold front will enter the NW waters 
Mon night, reach from 31N63W to the Central Bahamas late Wed, and 
stall from 31N61W to the Central Bahamas on Wed night and Thu. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
