Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak Atlantic high pressure will extend westward
across the northern Gulf through Wednesday, then begin to
retreat eastward on Tuesday as a weak cold front moves across
eastern Texas. The cold front is forecast to move off the SW
Louisiana and Texas coasts late Tuesday, reach from near the
Mobile Bay to the SW Gulf late Wednesday afternoon and from
northern Florida to SW Gulf on Thursday while becoming diffuse
into Friday.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the northern waters will begin to
weaken Wednesday as a broad trough that will move into the far SE
waters Tuesday begins to move across the Bahamas. The trough will
move across the Bahamas through Thursday evening, then across S 
and central Florida Friday through Saturday. Expect active weather
in the form of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms 
with gusty winds and building seas with this trough. Otherwise, 
long period NE to E swell to the E of the Bahamas will slowly 
subside through Thursday.
